It appears that this is the most "responded to" entry, so I'll add my "two bits". I thought the graphic artist did a GREAT job in duplicating Andrea's VERY creative design. I love the unique "Y", and the wide bright red letters can be seen from far away. I hope the sign lasts a long time.

Locals just stare at it. The minibuses stop. The oxes pulling the oxcart turn their heads. No one can seem to figure out what Ci Anjano means. Why on earth is there a tree in the middle? :) Of course their are plenty of people that figure out that the tree is supposed to be a "Y". They walk a way with a smile. If nothing else, it's generating interest.

I think it looks awesome. Fantastic work, Andrea! You may not be a perfectionist, but you're a gifted artist. :)

Ditto...AJ's is better - but with it being so big you can totally tell it's the same logo.

I had to look twice to see the difference. I agree, Andrea's was better, but the rendition still looks really good. Your eyes are drawn to the cool tree, not the font as much : )

thanks guys! I was actually fine with it and considering the guy did it free hand...I'm not complaining. Tim was worried that I'd be upset about the chunky font - but I happen to NOT be a perfectionist :)

Holly and I don't think it's too bad...but I certainly think Andrea's font selection is superior.

IMHO, it is a good rendition. If someone had the logo in hand and saw the sign, they may notice and you probably notice because of all the hard work in designing it. But I think it is a very good mimic of Andrea's work.
