Do You See Anything Unusual?

Lot’s of things still seem different about Lusaka, even though we’ve lived here for close to 5 years.  Andrea and I got a kick watching a “work crew” do their thing as we sat at the gas station refuelling our vehicle.  The scene before us just seemed really comical…  Are we just crazy, or are there unusual things about the sight?  We found about 5 things amusing.  What about you?

    1. 1 man working, 3 watching
    2. The actual painter is watching–at least the one whose clothes are covered with paint platters.
    3. The attire of the man doing the painting makes him look like a fireman.
    4. The safety strap attached to the scaffolding–now how safe is THAT?!
    5. The car in the car wash can’t get out–assuming there’s a driver in there.

And is that a security guard or a police man?

Looks like the set up to a great joke!

The one guy working while 3 watch is a lot like seeing city of Chicago workers “work.”

I think the “safety” strap is hilarious. The scaffolding looks a little shaky too. also the third guy watching the worker is looking away. If the painter fell he wouldn’t see it in time to react.

I think the safety strap is hysterical!
    The scaffolding is set unevenly…typical
