Cloth Diapering

diapers

This past week I started Tristan on cloth diapers.  Now, I tried using cloth diapers with Ian but bought the supplies locally.  The Zambian nappies didn’t absorb fluid well and the plastic pants didn’t contain the blow-outs.  I was not impressed and found it very difficult to keep up with.  As we prepared for Tristan’s birth, Tim and I decided we’d give it another try in order to save money and be a little kinder to the environment.  My sister took it upon herself to throw together an online diaper shower for me.  It was such a genius idea :)   She put together a complete list of everything I would need.  I now really enjoy the cloth diapers and am finding it sooo much more simple and hassle free.  Thanks to everyone who gave and took part in the online shower.

Through cottonbabies.com you can get a diaper grant if you are an overseas religious worker:). We got it, and they gave $200 worth of Bum Genius diapers. I am really happy with them. I don’t know if you need them anymore or are done with baby making and getting, but if you aren’t trot on over and check it out. I like their website anyway….
